The Town of Camillus Police Department would like to encourage the parents of Camillus to become involved in the National Child Identification Program. According to a U.S. Department of Justice study, over 58,000 children are abducted each year. Precautionary measures include keeping a complete description of your child, taking color photographs every six months, keeping copies of your child's fingerprints, a sample of DNA, and maintaining medical records and dental charts.

 

The Camillus Police Department provides FREE Child Identification cards for Camillus children. The program will record a digital fingerprint, a digital picture and your child’s identifying information.
