Police Units
The Camillus Police Department maintains core Police Units that handle the day-to-day responsibilities of law enforcement in our community. These units form the backbone of our department, responding to calls, conducting patrols, and ensuring public safety around the clock. Patrol Unit
Our patrol officers are consistently responding throughout (3) patrol zones throughout the Town of Camillus.
Criminal Investigations
The unit is responsible for conducting secondary investigations to felony crimes committed in the Town of Camillus among other duties.
Traffic Unit
The Traffic Section was created with the intent of reducing the number of traffic accidents by the way of traffic engagement.
School Resource Officers
The Camillus Police Department has (7) School Resource Officers (SRO) assigned to the West Genesee School District.
