Clerical/Records Information

The Records Section of the Camillus Police Department is currently staffed by (4) civilian employees that handle duties ranging from greeting citizens, records management and compiling department statistics.

Regular business hours for the Records Section are 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

Requests for reports may be made in person at the Police Department with valid identification.

F.O.I.L. Requests

As of December 2025, FOIL requests are now processed by the Camillus Police Department. 

Certain records generated by the Camillus Police Department, like crash or incident reports, are available to certain individuals as defined by law.  Other records are available to the public by filing a F.O.I.L. request.  Please note that there is usually a nominal fee for reports.

F.O.I.L. requests involving police records, are processed by Camillus Police Department and can be submitted directly to the police department using the designated F.O.I.L. request form, in person, through US mail, or via e-mail, policefoilrequests@townofcamillus.com.
