Where is the Camillus P.D. located and what are the administrative hours?

The Camillus Police Department is located at 4600 W. Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13219, inside of the Camillus Municipal Building.

The administrative offices of the Camillus Police Department are open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Emergency services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Anonymous crime tips are not monitored 24/7. If you are reporting an emergency or a crime in progress, call 911 immediately.

How To Submit Crime Tips Anonymously:

1. Submit Tip Via Text: Text TIPCAM followed by your tip to 847411.

2. Call-In Anonymous Tip: Call our tip line (315)407-1847 to speak with someone or leave a voicemail.

3. Submit Tip Online: The OCCrimeTips app allows citizens to submit anonymous tips from their mobile device.

Be sure to save/record your Tip ID. You can use the ID to login to view feedback about your tip from the agency/group. Just enter the ID on the Tip411 login page and any feedback about your tip from the group will display. You can then submit additional information to the group.

Certain records generated by the Camillus Police Department are available to the public by filing a FOIL request. Other records, like crash or incident reports, are available to certain individuals as defined by law. Please note that there is usually a nominal fee for reports. Contact the Camillus Police Department for more information.

If you would like to commend and officer for their actions on a specific call or would like to file a complaint against an officer, please complete the respective forms linked below. Once completed, click the submit button and a supervisor will contact you. In order to apply for this program, you must fill out and submit the Class Application. You may download or print the class application from our website using the link below. The completed application must be submitted by the specified deadline found on the academy webpage. You must submit the application either by email to CitizensPoliceAcademy@townofcamillus.com or in person at our office during business hours.

Call 911 during any incident where you need an immediate police response. Whether it’s for reporting suspicious activity, a theft, a vehicle accident, or even a noise complaint. We understand that perceptions of what constitutes an emergency varies among the citizens that call 911. Do not worry about judging the severity of your call. The staff at the Onondaga County 911 Center are trained and equipped to prioritize all 911 calls and dispatch them appropriately to the officers patrolling your community.
