Child ID Card Information

The Town of Camillus Police Department encourages parents to participate in the National Child Identification Program (NCIP). According to a U.S. Department of Justice study, over 58,000 children are abducted each year. Taking precautionary steps can make a critical difference. These include maintaining a current description of your child, updating color photographs every six months, keeping copies of your child’s fingerprint records, storing a DNA sample, and keeping up-to-date medical and dental records.

The Camillus Police Department offers FREE Child Identification cards for children who reside in the Town of Camillus. Each card includes a digital fingerprint, digital photo, and your child’s identifying information.

We regularly visit locations throughout the Town of Camillus to host Child Identification events. For more information or to find out when the next event is scheduled, please call (315) 487-0102.
